When asked about being sober during the holidays, Dan said, “The reality is the holidays are a wonderful time to be sober; it’s a great time to be sober. When we drink, and when we use drugs, we isolate. And so our biggest advice to people during the holidays season is to enjoy the community.” He also discussed the importance of having a plan to stay sober and spending time with people you trust.
